Description :

DHATVIK 6609L is a low heat input electrode suitable for welding of AISI 309L/309 type, Joining of Stainless Steel to Low alloy steel or Carbon steels. Deposition of buffer layer on Carbon steel or low alloy steels. Weld deposit with high strength joining, also used for overlays on Carbon and stainless steels for corrosion resistance and high temperature application upto 600°C. Stable arc with less spatter and excellent strike and restrike during welding.

Applications :

DHATVIK 6609L is used for joining mild steel to stainless steel. Typical applications include welding of 309L, 308L to carbon steels and low alloy steels, stainless steel piping in refineries and chemical plants. Parting tools, Joining of Hadfield Manganese steel components in earth moving machinery and mining industry, tracks-pads, furnace parts, anchor welding, cooler plates, sugar mill roller journals etc. Corrosion resistance overlay on carbon steel, welding of carbon steel of poor weldability.
